Those who are long-time readers know that impressionist paintings are my favorite. I will consider my art journey a complete success when I can produce a decent impressionist painting. That day is a long way off, but the hope remains.
This image was made entirely by accident when my XE-5 began having unrecognized battery failure that caused the shutter speeds to vary randomly between shots. The battery issue ruined many images, but for some reason, I like this image—a lot. Color would have been even better. Since this was an accident, I have no idea how to replicate it. C’est la vie.
