Piping Knot

While walking on a side street in Midtown, I came across this building with a display  of exterior piping.   The pipes were two colors—yellow and red, I think.   Given the window diagram, I assume the pipes were intended as a statement of sorts.   The deep shadows made it impossible to get a good image using the Minolta AF-C, so these are the best I could do.  Unfortunately, I don’t remember where this is, so a reshoot is unlikely.  These images would have been more compelling in color.
